Santa Monica (Perfect Meal Today) 6/28/18/–On Tuesday June 12 , select media were invited to taste Del Frisco’s Grille Santa Monica new Summer 2018 Brunch Menu. It was breakfast for diner in a delicious summer evening soiree. Seven of the newest dishes were presented family style and in abundance as we tasted the chef’s newest creations and breakfast combinations ;
This summer brunch there is a dish for every palate from cage free eggs prepared French style, East coast lox and bagels , cinnamon roll extravagant and gluten free avacado toast and Quinoa breakfast bowls ;
Brunch for diner started with their Smoked Salmon Tower , Foley’s smoked salmon flown in from Boston ; totally worth the flight delicious served with “Everything” Caper Cream Cheese, Plain Cream Cheese, Two New York Bagels, Cucumber, Tomato, Red Onion also option for gluten free bagels. The everything cream cheese is everything to make this smoked red fish bagel breakfast beyond everything else ; As usual gluten free bagel is well gluten free and the everything cream cheese certainly creams up the bagel nicely ;
Then the infamous Nonna’s Pan Cinnamon Roll with authentic Bourbon-Espresso Caramel sauce and toasted pecans , this dish serves a whole family and is the size of a cake. It is absolutely delicious especially if your a cinnamon and caramel fan the authentic Bourbon Caramel sauce adds a sparkle to this dish to share .
A popular morning favorite for meat eaters my colleagues rave about this braised short rib hash dish served with Idaho Potato Hash, Cage-Free Eggs, Bordelaise and Béarnaise sauce ; very French inspired ;
Also a French dish and popular favorite Croque Madame this Toasted Brioche with both Fontina, and Gruyère cheese with Cage-Free Egg and Thin-Sliced Ham, Garlic Crème, Mixed Greens and Strawberry Salad , I actually took out the ham and tasted this dish as well ; totally fabulous the cheese melts in your mouth .
The Greens and Grains Bowlwith Quinoa, Charred Broccoli, Baby Spinach, Edamame, Beets, Avocado, Dried Cranberries, Roasted Almonds, Poached Cage-Free Egg, Sweet Basil Dressing this popular healthy morning brunch dish is sure to be the favorite with the healthier option conscious crowd. Healthy and delicious for Saturday or Sunday brunch.
Also new this season Lemon Ricotta Pancakes lemon curd served on top of pancakes with day old lemon cakes chopped and mixed on top tastes like a lemon meringue pie on a pancake served with blueberry compote and fresh berries tangy and delicious .
Eggs in Purgatory a very interesting dish of middle eastern origin yet Italian like taste ; Poached Cage-Free Eggs served is delicious Roasted Tomato Pepper Sauce, Served with Avocado Flatbread which is gluten free and seasoned with Baby Arugula, Feta, Lemon Vinaigrette ; fabulous Mediterranean style dish with the roasted tomato sauce and feta cheese and avocado toast to dip in thick tomato sauce.

Crack Coffee , yes that’s the name of this morning booster and blast. This Crack Coffee is filled with Mt. Gay Black Barrel, Elizabeth Allspice Dram, Chai Tea Syrup, Chameleon Nitro Cold Brew, Half & Half, Cinnamon and Whip cream ; impressive to restart any engine ;
Bruch cocktail with Every Mimosa, their version served with J. Rogét Sparkling, and Orange Juice delicious morning sparkling start by the glass or carafe.
The famous Watermelon Froze is Jean – Luc Colombo Rose mixed with Monin Watermelon , watermelon puree this is sure to be the summer pink drink of choice !
