HOLLYWOOD(Perfect Meal Today)6\/14\/16\/–The art of the burger continues to evolve, and the innovative Hard Rock Group\u00a0launched eight new burgers at their Hollywood Boulevard flagship location recently. We\u00a0were there to taste quite a few of them, and thankfully, they all kept coming out slider\u00a0style. Hard Rock gave their chefs freedom to create a unique local burger which in a\u00a0way emphasized their city, and in this latest World Burger Tour, Athens, London, Mumbai,\u00a0Seattle, Montego Bay, Buenos Aires, Las Vegas and Honolulu were proudly represented.<\/p>\n

These were the eight that made the cut from a total of 160 burgers that were entered.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the ultimate burger fan you can book a world tour for two people that includes stops\u00a0In Athens, Buenos Aires and Seattle and of course London to experience behind the scenes\u00a0tours and much more for a base cost of $24,999. Of course the HARD ROCK concept started\u00a0in London on Park Lane in Mayfair, and on this ten day tour fans will get a private tour of\u00a0the vault which houses some of the most valuable items including the first piece acquired which\u00a0was a signed Eric Clapton guitar.<\/p>\n

So let\u2019s start out with the English Breakfast Burger, a monster meal in itself consisting of an\u00a0Angus Beef patty topped w\/sliced ham, a sausage patty, a fried egg, Portobello mushroom,\u00a0aragula and garlic aioli and served with an English staple, baked beans. I really liked the\u00a0Tandoori Chicken burger from Mumbai, simple inn execution with a dark meat chicken\u00a0patty seasoned with Indian spices and herbs an topped w\/mint mayonnaise and served\u00a0with a side of cucumber.<\/p>\n

The Greek Burger from Athens prominently featured aragula and feta cheese and tomato\u00a0Which somewhat overwhelmed the Angus beef patty, but the Aloha Burger was a beef\u00a0Patty topped with SPAM, Monterey Jack cheese, a grilled pineapple ring with soy\u00a0Glaze, guacamole and pico de gallo. A little but too much activity for me with this\u00a0burger however.<\/p>\n

The Java Lava Burger from Seattle was another winner with the select crowd, and this\u00a0was a burger patty grilled and accompanied by a house made espresso rub and topped\u00a0with lava sauce, crunchy java onions, bacon. Melted cheddar Cheese, and all this was\u00a0topped off with a fried jalapeno.<\/p>\n

Las Vegas of course came up with the heavily spiced Atomic Burger, a patty topped with Atomic beer-\u00a0Battered peppers, pepper jack cheese, battered peppers, caramelized onions, saut\u00e9ed mushrooms, garlic chipotle ketchup and chipotle mayo.<\/p>\n
