Palos Verdes (Perfect Meal Today)6\/28\/17\/–Well the secret is now out and the place to go is Burattino Brick\u00a0Fire Oven Pizza\u00a0Palos\u00a0\u00a0in Palos Verdes and they would love to see you.\u00a0The Wild Boar Pepperoni is far more leaner and less greasy than\u00a0regular pepperoni. It is part of their special pizza section, which\u00a0also includes the Wild Boar Italian Sausage Pizza. More things\u00a0to know about the Wild Boar is that it has more protein and less\u00a0cholesterol than chicken, and less fat than beef, lamb or pork.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It is also of course 100% wild which means no hormones or\u00a0antibiotics. The wild boar pepperoni took three attempts by\u00a0the distributor in Illinois to perfect, and now he is keen to\u00a0push other exotic pizza toppings such as bison to the curious\u00a0pizza fanatics in California.<\/p>\n

All the crusts here by design are of the thin variety, so if you\u00a0are into the thick crusts then this is not the place for you.\u00a0This is also a pizza restaurant that actually has a chef who is in charge\u00a0of the specialty pizzas. Chef Lee works seven days a week and\u00a0is grateful to be earning a living in America and has no plans\u00a0to return to his native Uzbekistan. The owner Emil is a tech savvy\u00a0and marketing expert who jumped into the pizza business about\u00a0a year ago. He renovated the small restaurant that has four or\u00a0five tables for in-house dining, and like the chef he has no plans of\u00a0returning to his native Georgia (Soviet version).<\/p>\n

Another pizza that I tried and liked was the Croatian Pizza, a tasty\u00a0m\u00e9lange of mushrooms, beef prosciutto, feta cheese, roasted red\u00a0peppers, bell peppers, black olives and red onions. In all the pizzas\u00a0marinara sauce can be substituted for homemade white garlic sauce or\u00a0BBQ sauce. There is also an extensive list of toppings to choose from\u00a0from the well designed menu.<\/p>\n

There are also foot long Gourmet Hot Sandwiches such as the Roasted\u00a0Pork and BBQ Pork or Chicken and if you like pork then be aware\u00a0this is special house roasted pork. They also have giant sized Calzones\u00a0on offer that you can build with your own toppings as well as gourmet\u00a0salads along with a large meatball appetizer in marinara sauce and\u00a0baked chicken wings.<\/p>\n
