Chef in charge is Keith\u00a0Shutta, a Torrance native who has an extensive local resume including Shutters at the Beach.<\/p>\n<p>He loves his job working from a tiny kitchen, and he seems to be given a great amount\u00a0of rope from the manager and the owners.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perfectmealtoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/TART-Restaurant-Breakfast-Burrito.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-805\" src=\"http:\/\/perfectmealtoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/TART-Restaurant-Breakfast-Burrito.jpeg\" alt=\"TART%20Restaurant%20-%20Breakfast%20Burrito\" width=\"178\" height=\"178\" srcset=\"https:\/\/perfectmealtoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/TART-Restaurant-Breakfast-Burrito.jpeg 178w, https:\/\/perfectmealtoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/TART-Restaurant-Breakfast-Burrito-150x150.jpeg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 178px) 100vw, 178px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perfectmealtoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/imgres-6.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-790\" src=\"http:\/\/perfectmealtoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/imgres-6.jpeg\" alt=\"imgres-6\" width=\"142\" height=\"80\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>At Tart, which in England means either a cake or dessert usually with custard or a loose\u00a0woman with little or no sexual morals, Shutta has created a very eclectic menu. You muststart with pigs ears ($7) which are first boiled for three hours to get rid of any impurities,\u00a0sliced and smothered in corn starch and then fried. They are served with Tabasco, grilled\u00a0lime and celery and ranch dressing and a real treat. Fish\u00a0and Chips is not done with the standard Icelandic Cod, the Tart version is done with\u00a0catfish and it works. It is served with mashed green peas, tartar sauce and malt vinegar powder\u00a0for a giveaway price of $16.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/perfectmealtoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/imgres-9.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-793\" src=\"http:\/\/perfectmealtoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/imgres-9.jpeg\" alt=\"imgres-9\" width=\"120\" height=\"80\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The cocktail list at Tart features nine different ones all priced at around $13 with a possible\u00a0standout being the Smoky Paloma, a potent mix of Epsilon Tequila, El Silencio Mezcal,\u00a0Agave Nectar, Lime, Grapefruit Juice, Serrano Peppers and Egg Whites. An even bigger\u00a0deal especially during the weekend brunches are the punch bowls at $55 for a full bowl and\u00a0$35 for a half bowl.
