A visit to L’Hirondelle French-Belgian Bistro will transport you into an old world, European dining adventure where and when dining was celebrated as a time to slow down and savor the cultural aspects of the food and wine experience.

Service at this family-owned and operated restaurant was attentive without being intrusive; a nice enhancement to the informal ambience on the beautifully decorated patio; perfect for brunch or lunch.
This restaurant is a great choice when you are looking for a quaint and very romantic setting for that special occasion. The inside seating harkens back to a time of elegance. Your guest(s) are sure to be excited, pleased, and impressed with your restaurant selection.
L’Hirondelle’s menu includes many of the wonderfully nostalgic classic French-Belgian items such as Beef Bourguignon, Sweetbreads Chasseur, Frog legs, French Onion Soup Gratinee, Crème Brulee, and Cherries Jubilee. Also on the menu are favorite standards like Rack of Lamb, Filet Mignon, and Atlantic Salmon.
L’Hirondelle’s Beef Bourguignon has received the prestigious Best of San Juan – People’s Choice Best Main Dish award for the last four years in a row.
For those with a smaller appetite, the Petite-Plates menu offers eight of the dinner entrée items in smaller sizes with smaller prices.
Diners should have no trouble finding just the right wine from the thoughtfully chosen wines on L’Hirondelle’s wine list.
Our party of three ordered the following: the Kobe Burger with caramelized onions and Gorgonzola cheese, Eggs Benedict, and Beef Bourguignon. The burger was cooked medium-rare, exactly as ordered. The Eggs Benedict’s egg whites were firm, and the yolks had the perfect consistency. The award-winning Beef Bourguignon did not disappoint with its richly seasoned wine sauce and tender sirloin beef tips.
